Occupational Summary

Student Services work-studies will work in Craven First Stop and will be involved in answering phones, providing helpful information to students, and assisting current and prospective students as needed. Student Services work-studies aid Administrative Assistants, Admissions Specialists, Advisors, Student Records staff, and Financial Aid Officers in creating a comprehensive system of student support within Student Services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assists with ensuring program compliance through the review and verification of student forms as well as inputting information via data entry.

Provides clerical support such as filing and copying, leads new program participant orientation.

Answer college phone lines (switchboard) and transfer calls and check voicemails

Check students in to First Stop
