Position Summary

Village Medical Clinic in 100 Mile House is seeking a General Practitioner for a full‑time position. The successful candidate will build a substantial practice with long‑term future prospects. Responsibilities include providing clinic care, covering approximately six 12‑hour shifts each month in the 100 Mile Hospital emergency department, and following patient care in hospital and residential settings. The clinic shares overhead costs at approximately 25% and has no in‑house anesthetist; obstetric services are provided through Williams Lake. The hospital also provides general medical, outpatient, x‑ray, laboratory, and specialty services available within close proximity.

Clinic colleagues cover each other’s patients when away. Clinical operations are supported by a dedicated team and community resources that include nearby sports and recreational facilities.
