Facility Operator (Full-time, Limited Term)

Position Details

Athletics & Recreation Services (ARS) at the University of Lethbridge is seeking applications for a qualified Facility Operator to begin employment in August 2026. This is a full-time, Limited-Term position with the possibility of extension (7.5 hours per day, with varying shifts that may include evenings and weekends).

Reporting to the Manager, Athletic & Recreation Facilities, the Facility Operator plays a key role in the safe and efficient operation of the University’s athletic and recreation facilities, including the Community Sports Stadium, Centre for Sport and Wellness, Max Bell Regional Aquatic Centre, Gymnasiums, Fitness Centre, and Ascent Climbing Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative and on-demand maintenance, including equipment repair, workorder management, and procurement of parts.
