Performs semi‑skilled and skilled work in the maintenance and repair of County buildings and surrounding grounds through work orders. Tasks include electrical work (running cable, changing light switches, etc.), plumbing (resealing joints, unclogging, etc.), carpentry (building projects by blueprints, replacing ceiling tiles, sanding, painting), HVAC, masonry, concrete repairs, and general upkeep such as cleaning gutters, removing debris, stocking janitorial supplies, and keying/door adjustments. Responsibilities also involve setting up rooms for functions, moving and repairing furniture, reviewing and completing work order reports, and supporting the on‑call rotation to respond to emergency calls 24‑hour a day.
