Fabricator - 6G Welder

Job title: - Fabricator (6G Welder)

Job Location: - Charlotte, NC, 28269

Shift: - 2nd shift

Pay range: - $28-$30 an hour USD

Duration: - 12+ months



Key responsibilities:

•Performs layout and fits up work using fixtures or positioners

•Welds various metals using Pulsed MIG, Short-arc MIG or Submerged arc processes

•Uses MIG welder to assemble fabricated metal products in an efficient manner to maximize production

•Operates the equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment to the supervisor

•Produces strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous and consistent

•Follows required procedures and uses appropriate jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process

•Performs a variety of brazing functions encompassing all materials
