GENERAL SUMMARY: Operates various pieces of fabrication equipment that cut, punch, drill, or bend metal. Makes own setups, changes own tools and dies, and does minor maintenance of equipment and tools. Deburrs own parts as required. May be required to operate two or more machines simultaneously. Performs other work as directed by the Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Requires continuous standing on concrete surfaces. Requires frequent bending and walking. Occasional squatting, sitting, kneeling and overhead reaching. Requires occasional lifting and carrying over short distances of parts weighing 50 pounds. Occasional lifting of 80 pounds from floor to waist level and occasional pushing and pulling of materials requiring 80 pounds of force to initiate movement.
