Executive Director, Editor-in-Chief (EIC) Merck Manuals

**Job Description**

Executive Director, Editor-in-Chief (EIC), reports to the Assistant Vice President, Scientific Communications & Information Sciences, and leads all strategic, financial, business, and editorial functions of the Manuals department. The EIC has primary responsibility for the content, digital publishing, and promotion of the Manuals Professional, Consumer and Veterinary versions across all modes of delivery (including written, web, mobile app, AI or EHR integrations).

+ Lead, manage, and develop the Manuals leadership team, including leaders in editorial, operations, digital product development and infrastructure, and marketing and strategic partnerships
