Responsibilities
- Responsible for all catering, group sales and the business centre's activities in the hotel, from booking events to their execution.
- To prepare departmental budget and forecasts, operating within set parameters, ensure effective cost control.
- To establish and maintain rapport with clients, prior to, throughout and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business. Conduct site inspections and sales activities as required.
- To work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to prepare monthly forecasts.
- To develop the annual business and marketing plan for the department in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- To ensure meetings and function rooms are properly maintained at all times. Liaise with Food and Beverage outlets concerning reservations and flow of clients.
