Estimator

Estimator SCOPE OF JOB: The Estimator is responsible for searching for profitable jobs for the Company and evaluating the feasibility of undertaking the project. He/she provides bids to construction contractors and owners that are competitive yet profitable for the Company. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checks the website for available bid opportunities.
• Downloads blueprints from the website and does material take-offs.
• Sends out and follows-up on bids to potential customers.
• Up-sells products, services, and equipment to existing and potential customers.
• Maintains customer contacts.
• Submits approved alternate products to contractors/owners for project acceptance.
• Seeks out new customers.
• Write-up equipment lists and submits to operations.
• Schedules jobs with Dispatch; follows-up as needed.
• Acts as primary customer contact for contractors/owners through the project.
