Join Bird's Edmonton office as an Estimator, specializing in major projects exceeding $50 million. Utilize your expertise in estimating, costing, and subcontractor collaboration to drive successful project outcomes.
In this role at Bird, you will contribute your hands-on estimating experience to support large-scale construction initiatives. A background in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred, along with extensive knowledge of project delivery methods. You will develop accurate estimates and pricing, analyze project documents, and build positive relationships with subcontractors and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop accurate project estimates following company procedures
• Solicit pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
• Analyze project documents and assess subcontractor requirements
• Participate in detailed estimate reviews and final submissions
• Provide preconstruction services, including cost plans and budgets
Requirements:
