Primary Function of Position:

Equipment engineers may evaluate, inspect, maintain, repair, design, analyze and improve various types of equipment, including electronic and mechanical equipment. EE may have to work in different areas, such as electrical, mechanical or computer engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities: In addition to P2 Level: Design of experiments to determine best parameters for equipment operation. Create Fixtures and Tools defining requirements, specifications, design, and operation in compliance with company procedures. Create Equipment Qualification Protocols like IQOQ. Interface with other engineering groups for implementation of equipment related updates. Document Equipment Events with impact to product assembled, like Out of Tolerance and similar events.
