Environmental Technician

**Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm| Start Rate: $23.35**
**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** As the Environmental Technician, you will assist with and implementing Tribal environmental programs. You will report to the Environmental Director/Compliance Officer.
**Primary Tasks:**
1. Conduct fieldwork together with Environmental Coordinators. This will include but is not limited: to site inspections, collection of environmental samples, compilation of data and reporting of data to appropriate internal sources.
2. Perform basic calculations and computer data system updates.
3. Work with Environmental Coordinators and Specialists to maintain accurate Choctaw Nation Environmental policies.
4. Process documents and complete tasks necessary to achieve departmental and grant objectives.
5. Operate equipment including pickup truck, boat, ATV, and environmental sampling equipment.
