Environmental Scientist/Geologist

Job Description AECOM is looking for an entry level Environmental Scientist/Geologist to join our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. The role involves data management, site investigations, and remediation. The successful candidate will gather and analyze geological, hydrogeological, and geochemical data in the field and office, conduct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air and soil vapor sampling, perform geological logging and interpretation, oversee subcontractors, and prepare investigation reports. Position begins ASAP. Responsibilities Conduct environmental field work, including collecting soil, surface water, groundwater, and remediation system data; soil logging; and fluid level gauging. Oversight of contractors conducting field surveys, drilling, well installation, development operations, and utility clearance for intrusive operations.
