Job Overview

GFT is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Practice or CBG Team in Toronto. This hybrid role requires regular attendance at our Toronto office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and conduct environmental site assessments (Phase 1/2 ESAs), environmental due diligence studies, excess soil management, contaminated site investigations, and remediation for transit, transportation, and other infrastructure projects.
• Plan, manage, and execute environmental due diligence and contaminated site assessment programs, including Phase 1/2 ESAs, Assessments of Past Uses (APUs), Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs), and Soil Characterization Reports (SCRs).
• Conduct Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards and Ontario Regulation 153/04.
