Environmental Case Officer

What is the job role?

We are looking for a proactive, motivated and resilient individual who enjoys solving problems and making a positive difference in local communities. You will be confident dealing with a wide range of people and able to communicate clearly, professionally and sensitively, both in person and in writing. 

The successful candidate will have strong organisational and investigatory skills, be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and be able to prioritise competing demands in a busy environment. We are particularly interested in people who can build positive working relationships, influence behaviour and take a practical approach to achieving compliance. 

Experience in environmental health, housing, enforcement, community safety or a similar regulatory environment would be advantageous, although we also welcome applicants with transferable investigation, compliance or enforcement skills. You should be comfortable u...
