Entry Level Geochemist, Hydrogeochemist

Responsibilities

• Perform and review data and conduct analyses for complex mining projects
• Technical writing and complex data analysis
• Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients and regulatory personnel
• Fieldwork including travel to select project locations

Requirements

• Less than 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and project-related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in geology, geoscience, or geoenvironmental engineering
• Understanding of mining operations and mine waste management
• Strong technical background in engineering and environmental practices/services for mining facilities
• Current MSHA New Miner or Annual Refresher Training
• Valid Canadian driver’s license and satisfactory driving record for business travel
