Duties & Responsibilities

Our client, a leader in the citrus industry and a vertically integrated producer, packer and exporter located in the Citrusdal valley, has an opportunity for an Entomologist to join our Production team.

The primary objective of this position is to provide technical leadership in integrated pest management for commercial citrus production by developing crop protection strategies, supporting operational decision

making, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement season-long pest management strategies aligned with production, export, and sustainability objectives
• Provide specialist technical support and recommendations to farm/production managers, production teams, and senior management
• Optimise spray application practices and support application technology improvements
