Job Title: Engineering Shift Manager Salary: £53,000 - £56,000 + contributory pension Location: Leeds Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Engineering Shift Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage engineering teams of 10-15 engineers across 2 manufacturing sites Work closely with the Head of Engineering and senior leadership team to minimise plant downtime Ensure all preventative maintenance activities are completed effectively to avoid production disruption Carry out and support both electrical and mechanical reactive and proactive maintenance Investigate machinery breakdowns and equipment failures to establish root causes Action repairs efficiently and accurately record all maintenance activities to identify recurring faults Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on plant productivity and efficiency Ensure engineering stores, spare parts, materials, and equipment are available when ...
