Engineering Manager

Aplin has partnered with a Montreal-based technology company to hire an Engineering Manager to lead their growing Design and QA teams. The company develops advanced technology for autonomous vehicles, aerospace, defense, and robotics.

This is a people-focused leadership role where you’ll be responsible for leading the engineering team, managing project delivery, and supporting team growth, while the VP of Product oversees technical strategy. The team currently has 7 employees and is expected to double in size over the next year, making this an exciting opportunity for a leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop engineers across the Design and QA teams.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team growth.
• Oversee project planning, timelines, and delivery to ensure commitments are met.
