Engineer - Substation Systems Support (All Levels)

**SUMMARY**

The Engineer - Substation Systems Support is responsible for providing support for business objectives through the following specialty areas: Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), telecom, fiber communication, control systems, communication systems, cyber security, physical security systems such as Physical Access Control and Video Management Systems.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Designs substation physical security systems.
+ Provides technical support to field personnel and contractors in the installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of SCADA systems, fiber optics, Ethernet networking, serial communication and physical security systems.
+ Evaluates, develops, and implements new components, software, and processes to support SCADA, ethernet/serial communications, access control and surveillance systems.
+ Collaborates with other engineers, departments and utilities to maintain project schedules.
