Engineer (m/f/d) - Wind Turbine Certification/Rotor Blade

Working closely with the Global team, the Engineer (w/f/i) - Wind Turbine Certification/Rotor Blades will be responsible for Project execution, Customer management and expanding UL Solutions Wind Energy Certification services in Germany and abroad.
Location: Bremen/Germany or optional remote


Key responsibilities are:
+ Evaluation of wind turbine rotor blades and their components according to international standards like IEC 61400-5
+ Structural analysis and finite element calculations with commercialized numerical simulation tools (ANSYS)
+ Inspection of manufacturer’s facilities to witness the correct implementation of specific rotor blade designs in the manufacturing process
+ Communication with internal and external stakeholders
+ Identify possibilities and techniques to improve and automate internal calculations & processes
+ University degree in Mechanical/ Structural/ Aerospace Engineering or any equivalent field
