**Job Description Summary**
The Hot Gas Path Materials Engineer leads material and process development, supports product qualifications and cost reduction initiatives, and performs metallurgical lab analysis to further gas turbine materials technology and quality. The Materials and Processes Engineering (MPE) Hot Gas Path team focuses on investment casting, machining, and post-operation analysis of nickel and steel alloy components used in the turbine section of a gas turbine.

+ Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes (casting, welding, heat treatment)
+ Review quality control inspections and non-destructive testing evaluations
