ENGINEER 2, TEST

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will perform a full range of technical work including vehicle field studies, root cause analysis, road load data collection, data analysis, and vehicle test reports. The role also runs laboratory empirical investigations, resolves component-level root-cause analysis, writes new test procedures, conducts inter‑laboratory correlation studies, and generates other testing-related reports.

Essential Functions:

• Plans, conducts, and coordinates a broad range of complex engineering technical assignments requiring an in-depth knowledge of foundation brake hardware and laboratory testing techniques, including inertia dynamometers, roto‑strokers, and linear actuators. Can complete these tasks with limited guidance from engineering resources, including inspection, assembly, and installation of test components.
