Engagement Mentor

Hello,
 
I’m currently working with an Alternative Provision based in Alfreton who are recruiting for the following positions:
-Engagement / Behaviour Mentor
-Tutor
There are full and part time roles available and after working 12 weeks through us, there will be a permanent contract (subject to how you get on).
The alternative provision caters for students from KS2 – KS5 who do not attend school for various reasons such as exclusion or SEMH needs linked to trauma or anxiety.
Within the provision, you will be supporting students with Functional skills English and Maths as well as PSHE and Project based Science such as Nutrition and the human body.  There are also many vocational subjects. The provision often take the students out to complete Team based games such as Football and Rounders as well as obstacle courses.
