Endoscopy Technician (GOVT/West) - Office Hours/Training Provided/up to $2.8k #HAO

Salary: up to $2,800

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri office hours

Location: Queenstown

• Perform cleaning, high-level disinfection, and reprocessing of endoscopes using Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER)
• Conduct daily cleaning of worktables, AER machines, flushing pumps, and leak testers
• Prepare scopes according to procedure schedules
• Inspect, perform leak tests, and manually clean used endoscopes
• Load scopes into AER and initiate reprocessing cycles
• Monitor and evaluate AER test indicators
• Dry and properly store scopes in designated cabinets
• Maintain inventory of endoscopes and disinfectants
• Track and monitor microbiological surveillance of scopes
• Report faulty equipment or scopes to the supervising nurse
• Perform weekly cleaning of sterile storage areas and scope cabinets
• Carry out basic maintenance of AER machines
