Employment Counsel

Position Responsibilities:

+ Providing knowledgeable and practical legal advice to human resources professionals and other company leaders regarding day-to-day employment law issues, including discipline, performance management, non-discrimination, non-harassment, wage and hour practices, background checks and drug testing, and employment law compliance issues;

+ Providing guidance to human resources professionals on ADA interactive process discussions, FMLA and other leave-related compliance issues;

+ Managing a docket of employment law litigation matters in coordination with outside employment counsel;

+ Responding to attorney demand letters and agency administrative charges involving employment-related claims;

+ Developing company policies and associated materials in response to applicable legal developments
