Become an Emergency Teacher at haahuupayak School, where you will provide quality education to children in the beautiful Tseshaht First Nation Reserve. This role focuses on delivering the BC curriculum while honoring Nuuchahnulth cultural teachings.
Reporting directly to the Principal, your duties will include preparing lesson plans, fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment, and managing student assessments. You will also participate in parent-teacher communication and contribute positively to school-wide activities. Your approach to education will shape students' appreciation of their culture and history.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design lessons in compliance with the BC curriculum
• Manage classroom dynamics to support learning
• Assess and record student progress appropriately
• Support out-of-classroom activities through supervision
• Stay involved in professional growth and development
