POSITION SUMMARYThis position works in collaboration with physicians to assess the physical needs of patients admitted to the emergency room. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Familiar with advanced concepts, practices and procedures and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in the fast pace and a variety of illnesses presented in an emergency room setting. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
