Duties of Position

Clinical expectations and responsibilities for Emergency Medical Technicians are based on the current Paramedic Association of New Brunswick registration requirements for Emergency Medical Technician as well as Ambulance NB policies, procedures and protocols.

Our emergency medical technicians provide transportation and patient care for non‑urgent low acuity patients and are expected to maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment in accordance with patient needs and public safety.
