Emergency Family Medicine Physician Needed

Sechelt Hospital seeks a full-time Emergency Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive care and ER coverage. This position is vital for patient stabilization and support.
As a Family Practitioner, you'll manage both inpatient and emergency roles, starting as soon as possible. You will participate in an on-call schedule, admitting new patients and responding to urgent non-code situations. The average workweek exceeds 30 hours, combining both inpatient responsibilities and flexible emergency shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Admit new patients from the Emergency Department
• Conduct daily patient rounds for assessment
• Provide immediate response to non-code emergencies
• Facilitate coverage for emergency shifts and sick calls
• Join a collaborative team of inpatient care physicians
Requirements:
• Full CPSBC license required
