ELECTRONICS ENGINEER

Summary You will serve as a ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the Acoustics Systems Division, Acoustics Department of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS. Responsibilities You will serve as an Electronics Engineering specialist with the responsibilities for developing designs and specifications of oceanographic and acoustic instrumentation systems. You will prepare preliminary design studies, design memoranda, final design calculations and plans, technical specifications, labor and material estimates for in-house programs. You will make trips aboard ships, aboard aircraft, and to other data collection locations to verify system performance. You will serve as a shipboard expert in the collection, processing, and quality control of geophysical data.
