Vacancy Description

Summary You will serve as an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic in the Utilities and Energy Management Product Line of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will test, calibrate, repair, and perform maintenance necessary to insure reliability and efficiency of all thermal plants. You will interpret control logic drawings, ladder diagrams, blueprints, electrical/electronic schematic diagrams, wire circuit drawings, and OEM drawings and specifications. You will operate EWS (engineering workstation) computer and human machine interfaces for the purpose of troubleshooting boiler controls. You will calibrate and replace as necessary Programmable Logic Controllers for the demineralizer water plants and distributed control system components for the boiler and plant systems controls.
