Electrician Supervisor

Summary This position is location in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6), Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System, Engineering Service, Maintenance and Operations (M&O), Electrical Shop. The position is located in the Engineering Service and is responsible for the supervision and operation of the Electrical Shop. Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for the management, supervision, planning, overseeing and training of the Electric Shop. Duties include but are not limited to: Determines labor and material costs for maintenance and repairs, minor improvements, maintenance contracts, and alterations. Furnishes advice and recommendations to services requesting work; discusses with them factors pertaining to the work such as urgency of need, particularly if the work concerns patient care.
