Summary About the Position: Responsible for operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment and systems at assigned installation(s) utilizing voltages up to and including 480 volts. Responsibilities Disassembles interlocking navigation and interrelated electrical, mechanical systems, subsystems, standby and related equipment to determine extent of repairs, overhaul and/or replacement parts needed. Makes recommendations when major repairs are needed so that coordinated effort can take place relative to temporary repair, technical engineering review, procurement of replacement items and maintenance of locking or dam control capability. Installs new equipment systems or subsystems to replace faulty or worn items which cannot be effectively repaired or repaired in a timely manner.
