Electrician – Facilities Management

The Facilities Management department is hiring a full‑time regular electrician to install, maintain, repair and operate electrical power and lighting systems across all University property. The position reports to the Supervisor, Maintenance and is performed under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include work in confined spaces, on scaffolds or lifts up to 4 metres, and with heavy lifting of up to 25 kg. Physical demands include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials, year‑round indoor and outdoor. The role may involve emergency callouts and stand‑by duty.
