Summary This position is located within the Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service, Prosthetic Treatment Center, at the Denver VA Medical Center. The incumbent independently performs diagnostic testing, preventive maintenance, repair, modification, adjustment, and evaluation of manual and powered mobility equipment, including wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers issued to Veterans through Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service. The incumbent reports directly to the Wheelchair Team Unit Supervisor. Responsibilities MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Diagnostics and Repair The incumbent independently performs diagnostic testing, preventive maintenance, repair, modification, assembly, adjustment, and operational testing of manual and powered wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, and related mobility equipment issued through Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service (PSAS).
