Electrical Engineering Assistant - Energy Storage
The Electrical Engineering Assistant - Energy Storage is responsible for integrating components and controls to drive commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage system design.
Responsibilities
- Design, validate, and contribute to new energy storage system product design and development through electrical component integration and system operation.
- Apply power and control integration knowledge to create design documentation.
- Create high level electrical drawings and model designs, then collaborate with others to complete detailed drawings utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design) such as AutoCAD or Creo.
- Contribute to design reviews.
- Evaluate BESS design overall effectiveness, including cost/benefit analysis, reliability/risk analysis, and functional safety.
- Define system test plans.
- Operate units onsite via our microgrid test center, to test & validat...
