Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electrical systems and equipment, electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electrical and electronic equipment, and other hardware systems found in industrial plants and applications. These systems and equipment are utilized in nuclear power plants, commercial and government nuclear fuel processing plants, chemical plants, refineries, and power plants. The work may be required to comply with NQA-1, 10CFR50, and 10CFR21 standards, so familiarity and experience with these QA standards is advantageous. Determine design approaches and parameters, select components and equipment based on specification analysis and reliability. Review vendor capability to support product development, and use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment for assignments.
