ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Administers and documents first aid care to students following District policy. Assists in the self-administration of medication as directed by APS medication policy and supervising nurse. Assists in maintaining immunization records and enforcing registration requirements as required by New Mexico laws and regulations. Assists in maintaining school health record system. Reports student illness, unusual events and injuries to immediate supervisor, appropriate personnel and parents. Performs vision, hearing, height and weight screening tests. Maintains clean, organized and orderly health room environment. Maintains inventory and orders health room supplies. Performs clerical tasks as requested by supervising nurse.
