Good Samaritan Society in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist. Contribute essential services focusing on respiratory assessments and patient care.
This shared position is located at both Millwoods Care Centre and Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre, dedicating two days each week to the facilities. Role responsibilities include full respiratory assessments and managing therapy provisions in a collaborative environment. You should have strong experience working with ventilator-dependent patients for effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate respiratory status assessments
• Manage respiratory therapy processes and resources
• Work collaboratively in a team of health professionals
• Support ventilator-dependent patient care
• Ensure safety and quality in all service aspects
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy
• Necessary CARTA registration
• 2-3 years of relevant experience as a therapist
