PUBLICITY AND EDITORIAL MANAGER

Role

Develop key press and communication strategies to obtain wider media coverage and higher media value (free press) for each film in the slate, working closely with the PR local agency. Explore, define, and exploit all publicity angles to maximize reach.

Responsibilities

• Management and negotiation of media coverage with media outlets and influencers for nominations to local and international junkets, set visits, content days, phoners, influencer stunts and other special publicity activities.
• Drafting and distribution of press releases and trailer/poster online breaks, and other news releases.
• Close supervision and communication with the local PR agency (a team of 4 people) to encourage them to give the extra mile in their proposals.
• Supervision of the WB representatives in the top 2 & 3 markets to implement the publicity strategy at a local level.
