JOB DUTIES

• Evaluate suitability of material for publication, broadcast or Internet and print media.
• Review, edit, and approve content for accuracy, clarity, style, grammar, and adherence to editorial standards.
• Make decisions on the significance of copy and determine what content will be published or broadcast.
• Plan layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations.
• Publish text for distribution for magazine and newspaper.
• Detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar and syntax.
• Shorten or lengthen copy.
