Drive equity and inclusion in research with Carleton University as an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Research Officer. Oversee program development and support EDI initiatives campus-wide.
This grant-funded role focuses on the Dimensions cohort program, emphasizing EDI practices in research. Successful candidates will possess knowledge in EDI frameworks, recruitment strategies, and stakeholder engagement. As a key player, you will analyze data related to barriers in EDI and assist in crafting impactful action plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement EDI program activities and strategies
• Conduct monitoring and evaluation of grants and initiatives
• Engage with internal and external EDI stakeholders
• Provide education and training for the research community
• Assist in developing a five-year Dimensions Action Plan
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a related field; PhD preferred
