Role Overview

Casual Early Childhood Educator, Substitute – non‑management, paid at 6% SVN.

Location: Richmond, BC – Tomsett, Seasong, Sprouts, Hummingbird, James McKinney. Term: casual, on‑call. Hours may vary; typical shift Monday‑Friday 7:00am‑6:00pm. Start date: as soon as possible.

Salary: $31.56 per hour for ECE Certificate (includes $6 Provincial Wage Enhancement). Reports to Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and creative programming directly to the children
• Build meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
• Work with your team to create a supportive and safe environment for staff and families
• Deliver high‑quality, age‑appropriate programs based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum
