**Specific Accountabilities**
+ Participates in the preparation of the annual POMEC budget.
+ Reviews proposed capital expenditure authorisation requests forms pertaining to POME and makes appropriate recommendations.
+ In case of pre-opening hotels, assists the CE in all the engineering related jobs as described in the pre-opening engineering checklist such as, but not limited to:
+ _Plan, implement and administer an energy-management programme by establishing energy reduction objectives, the maintenance of records and regular reporting of performance against these objective._
+ _Ensure staff awareness of energy management within the property by conducting regular education and training programmes on energy conservation and matters related to efficient operation of equipment in a cost-effective fashion_
+ _Contribute to the hotel’s profitability by ensuring the effective management of the building's environmental controls and energy-conservation sys...
