Teaching Responsibilities

• Teach Design and Technology across the age and ability range, challenging and inspiring all students with clear objectives, in line with department schemes of work and school policies.
• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to students’ educational needs, referencing prior attainment, SEN and EAL as required, ensuring equal opportunities for all and enabling students to achieve their potential.
• Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of students, ensuring marking and assessment are consistently high quality and in accordance with the school assessment policy.
• Maintain effective behaviour management in the classroom, using positive strategies to keep students fully engaged.
• Monitor student progress and achievement, identifying appropriate intervention strategies for underachieving pupils.
