Drama Teacher - Elementary/Middle School

The Katherine Thomas School in Rockville, MD seeks to hire a FT or PT drama teacher beginning with the 2026/2027 year. KTS is a private special education school serving students with language, learning, sensory motor disabilities and/or high functioning autism. The elementary/middle school program includes classes for K-8th grade. Hours are 8:30am - 4:15pm. EOE

Responsibilities include:


+ Implement content area curricula

+ Provide necessary accommodations to meet individual, group and program needs

+ Implement IEPs

+ Create a supportive learning environment

+ Implement Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

+ Create partnerships with parents and the Katherine Thomas School Community

+ Create fun and engaging lessons


Full-time annual salary range of $62,000 to $85.000, depending on experience and level of education. Part-time would be prorated.
