Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DPS Resident Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will lead the Data Protection & Back-Up Systems and Optimization. He/she will also take charge of the end to end process of DPS, ensuring the, availability, integrity, and recovery of the data.
Key Responsibilities & Role- Monitor and maintain Data Protection & Backup systems
- Perform capacity planning, data tiering, and Data Protection & Backup optimization tasks.
- Assist in data migration, archiving, and retention activities.
- Ensure data availability, integrity, and backup/recovery processes.
- Support incident resolution and escalate complex Data Protection & Backup issues to L3.
- Apply security policies and access controls on file and object data.
- Document configurations, changes, and standard procedures.
