About the Position and the Research Project
We are offering a fully funded PhD position in competitive professional gaming and movement sciences. The doctoral project will investigate how movement, perceptual-cognitive skills, and expertise are learned across highly competitive forms of gaming, such as chess and /or esports, drawing on contemporary theories from movement science.
The project will examine what performers perceive and how they coordinate actions during competition, with a particular focus on the processes that guide skilled behaviour and decision-making.
