Disputes Associate/Senior Associate

Overview

We are recruiting an associate or senior associate to join our Disputes team in Dubai at Shearman & Co. The Middle East disputes practice focuses on high‑stakes, cross‑border matters, providing holistic and innovative solutions through a collaborative, international approach.

Role Purpose

Required: qualified lawyer with 3‑5 years PQE to support our team on complex disputes involving infrastructure, construction, commercial arbitration, offshore litigation, investigations, and advisory matters. Work on every stage of a dispute from assessment to strategy, negotiations, court proceedings, and settlement.

Responsibilities

• Assess client positions and develop legal strategy and tactics.
• Prepare and manage discovery, resolution, negotiation, and court submissions.
